Bad Karma, the first novel in The Malcolm Jennings Series, tells the story of a disillusioned combat hardened U.S. Marine veteran, Malcolm Jennings, whose late father and younger brother were victims of corporate greed. Malcolm assembles a team of like-minded veteran Marines and plans the assassination of the corrupt executives he holds responsible. Malcolm’s wife, a cyber expert, infiltrates the FBI’s fingerprint and DNA database and deletes the team members’ files. The action, which takes place in Kitchener, Ontario, and New York City, is set in the near future where a pandemic has weakened police forces, where weapons are unregulated, and worried executives hire private policing contractors. Malcolm and his team of soldiers-turned-assassins are playing God, but are they justified? You be the judge.

The sequel, Bad Karma II: Final Revenge, published in May 2025, picks up where the team fleas back to the US after the assassination of their second target in Canada. Following a mad chase through the Midwest, Malcolm and his avenging angels arrive in New York City where they plan rough justice for their third and final target. But they must first deal with the FBI and NYPD SWAT teams, and outwit the CEO’s private detectives before reaching their prey.
